STAGE ONE: Introducing Buddy's way
Buddy The Value DogTM makes regular appearances online, on iPods (through Clickwheel) and occasional reprints in the press.

The comic strip builds brand recognition for Buddy The Value DogTM.

Buddy The Value DogTM frequently alludes to his potential value on the stock market when it floats.

As always, life is expected to follow art, ensuring the actual rising value of the Buddy The Value DogTMbrand and it's potential value on the stock market.

STAGE TWO: Flotation of Buddy The Value DogTM
Stage two occurs when there is sufficient notoriety of Buddy The Value DogTM as a recognized brand of value and Buddy The Value DogTM finally floats on the stock market.

The website and comics will announce the flotation of the company, hopefully with the backing of the business press.

This will hopefully have the effect of raising the actual value of the company, if for no other reason, that the comic strip's self-referrential nature and playful interaction with reality will be amusing to an ever-widening audience, thus increasing it's fan-base and consequently its value (a point which will also be featured in the comic strip).

STAGE THREE: Sale of the Controlling Shares
When the Buddy The Value DogTM bubble is reckoned to be ready to pop, the controlling shares of the company will be sold.

The "takeover" will be hyped in the comic strip itself for weeks ahead of time, thus pumping the value of the shares.

After the sale of the controlling shares, the strip will run for a few more installations in order to congratulate itself and gracefully wind down the first three-stage phase of the brand-building.

STAGE FOUR: Expenditure of Buddy The Value DogTM fortune
The sellers of the controlling shares will spend at least 10% of the proceeds made from the sale of these shares of Buddy The Value DogTM on charities helping oppressed underpaid workers in free trade zones who may have had to manufacture Buddy The Value DogTM merchandise.

The rest of the money should be personally spent only buying material things specifically without brand names.
